🍕 Carnivore Sausage Pizza with Pork Panko Crust
Ingredients
Crust:
-
4 oz cream cheese (softened)
-
2 large eggs
-
1 cup shredded mozzarella
-
1 cup pork panko (crushed pork rinds)
-
Optional: pinch of Italian seasoning or garlic powder (if you allow minimal spice)
Toppings:
-
1/2 cup pizza sauce (look for no sugar added or make your own with just crushed tomatoes + salt)
-
1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
-
6 oz cooked sausage (Italian sausage, crumbled or sliced)
-
1/2 tsp Italian seasoning (optional)
Instructions
-
Preheat Oven
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). -
Make the Crust
-
In a bowl, mix softened cream cheese, eggs, shredded mozzarella, and pork panko until a thick batter forms.
-
Spread the mixture on a parchment-lined baking sheet or pizza pan into a circle or rectangle about 1/4-inch thick.
-
Bake for 15–20 minutes, or until the crust is golden and set.
-
-
Add Sauce and Toppings
-
Remove the crust from the oven.
-
Spread a thin layer of pizza sauce on top (about 1/2 cup or less — optional if you’re super strict carnivore).
-
Sprinkle with shredded mozzarella and scatter cooked sausage over the top.
-
Add a pinch of Italian seasoning if you’re okay with herbs.
-
-
Bake Again
-
Return the pizza to the oven and bake for another 10–12 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
-
-
Broil for Crispiness (Optional)
-
Want a little crisp or browning on the top? Broil for 1–2 minutes at the end — just keep an eye on it.
-
-
Slice and Devour
-
Let it cool slightly, then slice and enjoy your high-protein, low-carb carnivore-style pizza!
-
🔁 Optional Swaps
-
Replace mozzarella in the crust with cheddar for a different flavor.
-
Use pepperoni or bacon instead of sausage for topping variety.
-
Want it 100% carnivore? Skip the sauce and seasoning — just cheese and meats!
