🥓🍔 Carnivore Bacon Jam Grilled Cheeseburgers
🔥 Ingredients (Serves 2):
For the Bacon Jam:
-
6 strips thick-cut bacon, chopped
-
2 tbsp bacon fat or beef tallow (optional, but makes it richer)
-
Pinch of salt (optional, if your carnivore plan allows it)
For the Burgers:
-
1 lb ground beef (80/20 is perfect for juicy burgers)
-
4 slices of cheese (cheddar, American, or any full-fat cheese you like)
-
More bacon (because… carnivore 😎)
-
Optional: Eggs (for a fried egg on top if you’re feelin’ fancy)
-
Salt (optional)
🍳 Instructions:
1. Make the Carnivore Bacon Jam
-
In a skillet over medium heat, cook chopped bacon until crispy.
-
Remove bacon, leave the fat in the pan.
-
(Optional) Add extra bacon fat or beef tallow to make it richer.
-
Return bacon to pan, lower heat, and cook together for ~10 more minutes, stirring frequently. You’re rendering it into a sticky, chunky bacon spread. No sugar, no onions — just pure bacon magic.
-
Set aside and keep warm.
2. Cook the Burgers
-
Form the beef into 2–4 patties (depending on your size preference).
-
Salt lightly if using.
-
Grill or pan-sear the patties over high heat until nicely browned, about 3–4 minutes per side (or however you like it).
-
Add cheese on top and let it melt.
3. Assemble
-
Bottom patty (or plate)
-
A generous scoop of bacon jam
-
Extra crispy bacon (yes, more!)
-
Optional fried egg
-
Top patty (if going double-stack style)
🥩 Optional Tips:
-
Want it “bun-style”? Use two thinner burger patties as top and bottom “buns”.
-
Add seared bone marrow or a drizzle of beef tallow for extra decadence.
-
Pair with a tall glass of raw milk (if your version of carnivore allows it) or just a nice bone broth.
Boom. A beast-mode burger that’s 100% carnivore, 100% delicious. Want me to give it a fancy name or write it up recipe-card style for printing?
