Zero carb | High protein | Keto-friendly
🧾 Ingredients (Makes ~12 muffins):
-
1 lb ground beef (or pork, turkey, or sausage)
-
6 large eggs
-
1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or any hard cheese – optional if you’re strict carnivore)
-
6 strips bacon, cooked and crumbled
-
Salt & pepper, to taste
-
Optional add-ins:
-
Beef liver (finely chopped, for added nutrients)
-
Bone marrow or tallow (for extra fat)
-
Diced cooked steak or leftover meats
-
🍳 Instructions:
-
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 12-cup muffin tin with tallow, butter, or bacon grease.
-
In a skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat if needed (save it for cooking later!).
-
In a mixing bowl, whisk the eggs. Add cooked ground beef, crumbled bacon, shredded cheese, and any other add-ins. Mix everything together.
-
Spoon mixture evenly into the muffin tin cups, filling them almost to the top.
-
Bake for 18–22 minutes, or until the tops are golden and muffins are set.
-
Cool slightly before removing from the tin. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 5 days or freeze for later.
🔁 Serving Ideas:
-
Reheat in a toaster oven or skillet.
-
Top with a fried egg or a pat of butter.
