🥓🧀 Carnivore Bacon Cheeseburger Pie
Zero carb • Savory • Melts in your mouth
🍳 Ingredients:
-
1 lb (450g) ground beef
-
6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
-
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
-
3 large eggs
-
½ cup heavy cream
-
Salt & pepper, to taste
🔥 Instructions:
-
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
-
In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Season lightly with salt and pepper. Drain any excess fat (or leave it in for max flavor — your call).
-
In a greased 9-inch pie dish, layer the cooked beef evenly.
-
Sprinkle the crumbled bacon over the beef.
-
In a separate bowl, whisk together eggs, heavy cream, salt, and pepper.
-
Pour egg mixture over the beef and bacon layer.
-
Top everything with the shredded cheddar cheese.
-
Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until golden and set in the center.
-
Let cool for 5–10 minutes before slicing. Enjoy while it’s warm and cheesy! 🧡
💡 Tweaks & Variations (all still carnivore-friendly):
-
Swap cheese: Use mozzarella, provolone, or a cheddar mix for different flavor vibes.
-
Add extra protein: Stir in cooked sausage, chopped liver, or ground pork with the beef.
-
Boost the crustless “crust”: Add a sprinkle of pork rind crumbs or grated Parmesan to the bottom of the pie dish before adding meat for a crispy base.
-
Make it spicy: Add a dash of cayenne, chili flakes, or diced jalapeños (if tolerated).
