Ingredients 🛒
1 lb chicken breast or thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
1½ cups mushrooms, sliced
2 tbsp cornstarch (for dredging)
Salt & black pepper, to taste
2 tbsp oil (for searing)
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tbsp dark soy sauce (for color)
1 tsp freshly ground black pepper (adjust to taste)
1 tsp sugar
1/4 cup water

1️⃣ Prep Chicken: Toss chicken pieces with cornstarch, salt, and black pepper.
2️⃣ Sear Chicken: Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high. Sear chicken until browned and cooked through. Set aside.
3️⃣ Cook Mushrooms: In the same pan, sauté mushrooms for 3–4 minutes until browned and tender.
4️⃣ Make Sauce: Add garlic, soy sauces, oyster sauce, sugar, black pepper, and water. Stir well and let it simmer for 1–2 minutes.
