🥩 Ingredients:

  • 1–1.5 lbs beef short ribs (bone-in or boneless)

  • 1 tsp salt (Redmond Real Salt or sea salt recommended)

  • 1/2 tsp black pepper (optional – omit for strict carnivore)

  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder (optional – omit for strict carnivore)

  • Optional: drizzle of tallow, butter, or duck fat

🔥 Instructions:

  1. Prep the ribs:

    • Pat ribs dry with a paper towel.

    • Season with salt and optional spices.

    • Let sit at room temp for 15–20 minutes for better cooking.

  2. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3–5 minutes.

  3. Air fry:

    • Place ribs in a single layer (fat side up if bone-in).

    • Air fry for 20–25 minutes, flipping halfway through.

    • For extra crispy edges: increase temp to 400°F for the last 5 minutes.

  4. Check doneness:

    • Ribs should be tender and browned.

    • Internal temp: at least 195°F for fall-off-the-bone tenderness.

  5. Rest: Let rest 5 minutes. Spoon any drippings or melted fat on top.
