1 lb (450g) ground beef (80/20 for good fat)

1/2 cup heavy cream (optional, adds richness)

1/2 tsp black pepper (optional)

1/2 tsp garlic powder (optional)

1/2 cup shredded cheese (optional, if you include dairy)

Butter or animal fat for greasing the baking dish
Instructions:

Preheat oven:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×9-inch baking dish with butter or animal fat. -
Cook the beef:
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until fully browned. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder (if using). Drain excess fat if desired. -
Prepare egg mixture:
In a large bowl, whisk together eggs and heavy cream until combined. -
Assemble casserole:
Spread the cooked beef evenly in the greased baking dish. Pour the egg mixture over the beef. Sprinkle shredded cheese on top if using. -
