Carnivore Bread Recipe
Ingredients:
- 2 cups pork rind panko (you can make your own by processing pork rinds in a food processor)
- 1.5 cups cottage cheese
- 12 large eggs
- 1 stick (1/2 cup) unsalted butter, melted
- Parchment paper (for lining the pan)
Instructions:
-
Preheat the oven: Set your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a standard loaf pan with parchment paper. This will make it easier to remove the bread once it’s baked.
-
Prepare the ingredients:
- In a food processor, combine the cottage cheese, eggs, and melted butter. Blend until smooth and fully combined.
- After blending the wet ingredients, add the pork rind panko into the mixture. Blend again until everything is well incorporated, ensuring you get a consistent batter.
-
Transfer to the pan: Pour the mixture into the prepared loaf pan, smoothing the top with a spatula to even out the batter.
-
Bake: Place the loaf pan in the preheated oven and bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown on top and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
-
Cool: Allow the bread to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then carefully remove it using the parchment paper and transfer it to a cooling rack.
-
Serve: Slice and enjoy! This carnivore bread works great for sandwiches or simply as a savory side.
Notes:
- You can experiment with adding seasonings like garlic powder, onion powder, or even a bit of shredded cheese to customize the flavor to your liking.
- If you prefer a firmer bread, you can adjust the baking time slightly or reduce the amount of cottage cheese.
Enjoy your carnivore-friendly bread! It’s a great, low-carb, high-protein option that’s perfect for sandwiches, dipping in soups, or just enjoying on its own.
