Carnivore Breakfast Beef Rolls Recipe
Ingredients:
For the Beef Rolls:
- 8 slices of thinly sliced beef (such as flank steak, ribeye, or sirloin)
- 4 large eggs (for scrambled eggs or omelets)
- 1/4 cup shredded cheese (optional, if dairy is allowed on your carnivore diet)
- Salt (to taste, optional)
- Pepper (to taste, optional)
- 1-2 tbsp beef tallow, butter, or ghee for cooking
Instructions:
Step 1: Prepare the Scrambled Eggs
- Crack the eggs into a bowl and whisk them until the yolks and whites are well combined.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and add 1 tablespoon of beef tallow or butter. Allow it to melt completely.
- Pour the whisked eggs into the skillet. Stir occasionally with a spatula to cook the eggs evenly.
- When the eggs are mostly set but still slightly creamy, remove them from the heat. You don’t want them fully cooked, as they will continue cooking in the rolls. Set aside.
Step 2: Prepare the Beef Slices
- Lay out the thinly sliced beef on a clean surface, such as a cutting board. If the slices are too thick, you can gently tenderize them with a meat mallet to make them thinner and more pliable for rolling.
- If you like, lightly season the beef with a pinch of salt and pepper for extra flavor. Remember that you don’t need many seasonings on a carnivore diet—just a bit of salt will enhance the flavor of the meat.

Step 3: Assemble the Beef Rolls
- Place a generous spoonful of scrambled eggs in the center of each slice of beef. If you’re using cheese, sprinkle a little bit of shredded cheese on top of the eggs.
- Carefully roll each slice of beef around the eggs and cheese (if using). The beef should wrap tightly around the filling to keep everything secure. If necessary, use a toothpick to hold the rolls together.
Step 4: Cook the Rolls
- Heat 1 tablespoon of beef tallow, butter, or ghee in a pan over medium heat. Once the fat has melted and the pan is hot, place the beef rolls seam side down to prevent them from unrolling.
- Cook the rolls for 3-5 minutes, turning them occasionally to ensure they brown evenly on all sides and the beef is cooked through. You want the beef to be crispy on the outside while keeping the inside soft and juicy.
Step 5: Serve
- Once the beef rolls are browned and fully cooked, remove them from the pan and place them on a plate.
- If you used toothpicks, remove them before serving.
- Serve the beef rolls hot for a satisfying breakfast or a high-protein meal.
