Carnivore Burger & Egg Breakfast Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 beef patty (you can use ground beef or pre-made patties)
  • 1 egg
  • 1-2 strips of bacon (optional, but adds extra flavor!)
  • Butter or ghee (for cooking)
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • Optional toppings: Cheese (if you’re okay with dairy), avocado, or extra bacon

Instructions:

  1. Cook the bacon (optional):

    • Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add the bacon strips and cook until crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side. Once cooked, remove from the skillet and set aside on a paper towel to drain excess fat.
  2. Cook the burger patty:

    • In the same skillet (with some of the bacon fat for extra flavor or add butter if you prefer), cook the beef patty over medium-high heat for about 3-4 minutes per side, or until it reaches your desired level of doneness. Season both sides with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Fry the egg:

    • In a separate pan, melt some butter or ghee over medium heat. Crack the egg into the pan and fry to your preferred level of doneness (sunny side up, scrambled, etc.). If you want the yolk to stay runny, cook it for about 2-3 minutes.
  4. Assemble the burger:

    • Place the cooked beef patty on a plate. If you’re using cheese, you can add it on top of the patty while it’s still hot so it melts a bit.
    • Place the fried egg on top of the burger patty.
    • Add bacon on top (if using).
  5. Serve:

    • You can serve it as is, or if you’re feeling fancy, you can slice the burger in half and add some avocado or even more salt and pepper to taste.

Enjoy your Carnivore Burger & Egg Breakfast! It’s a filling, high-protein meal to fuel your day.
