Carnivore Caramel Milkshake Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup heavy cream (preferably raw or grass-fed)

  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter (melted)

  • 1–2 oz beef gelatinous bone broth (optional for texture and protein)

  • 1–2 tsp egg yolk (pasteurized, optional for richness)

  • 1–2 tbsp carnivore “caramel”* (see below)

  • A few ice cubes (optional)

  • Pinch of salt

Carnivore “Caramel” (Simple Version):

  • 2 tbsp butter

  • 1 tbsp heavy cream

  • Optional: A small pinch of powdered monk fruit or stevia (not strict carnivore but sometimes used by relaxed carnivores)

Melt the butter over medium heat until it browns slightly and smells nutty. Stir in heavy cream and let it simmer for 1–2 minutes until slightly thickened. Let it cool slightly before blending into the shake.

🥄 Instructions:

  1. Blend heavy cream, melted butter, and caramel sauce in a high-speed blender.

  2. Add bone broth (cooled or room temp), egg yolk (if using), and ice cubes.

  3. Blend until frothy and creamy.

  4. Taste and adjust salt or caramel richness.

  5. Pour into a chilled glass and enjoy!

Want a frozen version? Freeze the heavy cream in an ice cube tray beforehand and blend it like ice cream.
