🥓🍗 Carnivore Chicken & Bacon Casserole

A hearty, high-fat, high-protein dish perfect for a carnivore or keto diet. Great for meal prep and reheats beautifully.

📋 Ingredients (Serves 4)

  • 2½ to 3 cups cooked chicken, shredded or cubed (rotisserie or leftover works great)

  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and chopped

  • 1 cup shredded cheese (mozzarella, cheddar, or a mix)

  • ½ cup cream cheese, softened

  • ½ cup heavy cream

  • ½ tsp salt (optional, depending on bacon)

  • ½ tsp garlic powder (optional if not strict carnivore)

  • Optional garnish: more shredded cheese or bacon on top

🔧 Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven
Preheat your oven to 190°C (375°F).

  2. Cook the Bacon
In a skillet, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove and chop. Reserve a tablespoon of bacon fat if desired.

  3. Mix the Sauce
In a mixing bowl, whisk together:

    • Cream cheese

    • Heavy cream

    • Salt (and garlic powder if using)
      Mix until smooth and creamy.

  4. Combine Ingredients
    Add to the bowl:

    • Cooked chicken

    • Chopped bacon (save some for topping)

    • Shredded cheese
Stir everything together until well combined.

  5. Transfer to Baking Dish
Spoon the mixture into a greased 8×8″ casserole dish (or similar size). Sprinkle with extra cheese and bacon if desired.

  6. Bake
Bake uncovered for 20–25 minutes, until hot and bubbly. For a golden top, broil the last 2–3 minutes.

  7. Cool Slightly & Serve
Let it rest for 5 minutes before serving to allow the sauce to thicken.

🍴 Serving Suggestions

  • Serve as-is, or with a side of eggs for brunch.

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 4 days; reheat in oven or skillet.
