🍗 Carnivore Creamy Chicken
Yields: 2–3 servings
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 20–25 minutes
Total Time: 30 minutes
Ingredients:
-
1 lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts
-
2 tbsp butter, ghee, or beef tallow (for searing)
-
½ cup heavy cream (or cream cheese for thicker sauce)
-
¼ cup grated Parmesan (optional for extra flavor)
-
1–2 tbsp chicken drippings or bone broth (optional but adds depth)
-
Salt to taste
🔥 Optional Add-Ins (still carnivore-friendly):
1 egg yolk (whisked into sauce for richness)
Shredded cooked bacon
Extra cheese (mozzarella, cheddar, etc.)
Instructions:
-
Cook the Chicken:
Heat butter or tallow in a skillet over medium-high heat.
Season chicken lightly with salt and sear on both sides until golden and fully cooked (about 6–8 minutes per side, depending on thickness).
Remove and set aside to rest. -
Make the Creamy Sauce:
Lower heat to medium. In the same skillet (do not clean it), add the heavy cream or cream cheese. Stir well to deglaze the pan. -
Add Parmesan (Optional):
Stir in grated Parmesan (if using) until melted and sauce thickens. You can also stir in a splash of bone broth or pan drippings for extra richness. -
Combine:
Slice or shred the cooked chicken and return it to the skillet. Toss to coat in the sauce. Let it simmer on low heat for another 2–3 minutes. -
Serve Hot:
Eat on its own, over carnivore “wraps,” or stuffed in egg crepes.
