Carnivore Egg & Cheddar Chips

Ingredients:

  • 4 large eggs

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or any other hard cheese like parmesan or mozzarella)

  • 1 tbsp butter (optional, for extra crispiness)

  • Pinch of salt (optional)

  • Optional: 1/2 tsp garlic powder or smoked paprika for flavor

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Oven:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. Prepare the Egg Mixture:
Crack the eggs into a bowl and whisk until well-beaten. If you’re adding salt or seasonings like garlic powder or smoked paprika, mix them in with the eggs.

  3. Mix in the Cheese:
Add the shredded cheddar cheese into the egg mixture and stir to combine.

  4. Form the Chips:
Pour spoonfuls of the egg and cheese mixture onto the parchment paper, spreading them out into thin circles. The thinner you spread them, the crispier they’ll get. Aim for about 3–4 inches in diameter for each chip.

  5. Bake:
Bake for 10–15 minutes, until the edges are golden brown and crispy. Keep an eye on them after 10 minutes to make sure they don’t burn.

  6. Cool:
Let the chips cool for a few minutes before serving. They’ll firm up as they cool, becoming extra crispy.

🍽️ Serving Suggestions:

  • Eat them as a snack or dip them in egg yolk or bone marrow.

  • Pair them with carnivore-friendly dips like whipped butter or a creamy cheese spread.

🧊 Storage:

  • Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.

  • For longer storage, freeze and reheat in a toaster oven or air fryer to crisp them up again.

These are a great way to satisfy your crunch cravings without any carbs! Want to make them thicker, like a cheese cracker, or keep them extra thin and crispy?
