Ingredients for the Base:
- 3 large eggs
- 185g sour cream
- 120g mozzarella cheese (shredded)
- Salt & pepper, to taste
Topping (optional):
- 4 oz ribeye steak (cooked)
- 3 strips of bacon (cooked and crumbled)
- 1 fried egg
- Stone-ground mustard (just a drizzle)
Instructions:
-
Preheat Oven: Set your oven to 415°F (210°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
-
Prepare the Base: In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, sour cream, mozzarella cheese, salt, and pepper until smooth and fully combined.
-
Spread the Mix: Pour the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, spreading it evenly to form a flat layer.
-
Bake: Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake for 20+ minutes, or until the flatbread turns golden brown and crispy on the edges.
-
Cool: Once it’s out of the oven, let the flatbread cool for at least 5 minutes before slicing.
-
Top It: Once cooled, load the flatbread with your choice of toppings. For this version, add cooked ribeye, crumbled bacon, a fried egg, and a drizzle of stone-ground mustard.
-
Serve: Slice it up, serve, and enjoy your carnivore flatbread!
