Carnivore Garlic Breadsticks (Zero-Carb)
✅ Ingredients:
-
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
-
2 oz cream cheese
-
2 large eggs
-
1 cup finely grated parmesan cheese (or pork rind “flour”)
-
1/2 tsp garlic powder (optional, for those slightly flexible with spices)
-
2 tbsp melted butter
-
Optional garnish: a sprinkle of more parmesan or a tiny dash of dried parsley (if desired and tolerated)
🔥 Instructions:
-
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
-
Melt mozzarella & cream cheese: In a microwave-safe bowl, combine mozzarella and cream cheese. Microwave in 30-second bursts, stirring in between, until melted and well combined (about 1–2 minutes total).
-
Add eggs and parmesan: Mix in eggs, parmesan cheese (or crushed pork rinds if using), and optional garlic powder. Stir until a thick dough forms.
-
Form breadsticks: Place the dough on the parchment paper. Using oiled hands or another sheet of parchment, flatten the dough into a rectangle about 1/2-inch thick. Slice into breadstick shapes but keep them together for baking.
-
Bake for 15–18 minutes, or until golden brown and firm.
-
Finish with garlic butter: Brush the hot breadsticks with melted butter. If tolerated, mix the butter with a dash of garlic powder before brushing for extra flavor.
-
Slice & serve: Separate along the pre-cut lines and enjoy warm!
These are fantastic with steaks, eggs, or on their own as a snack. Since they’re entirely cheese- and egg-based, they’re 100% carnivore-friendly and have essentially zero net carbs.
Would you like a version using only eggs and cheese, no parmesan or pork rinds?
