- Form the mixture into patties, about 4-6, depending on your desired size.

- Heat 2 tablespoons of animal fat in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add the hamburger steaks and cook for 4-5 minutes per side, or until they are browned and cooked through. Remove them from the pan and set them aside to rest.

- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
