Carnivore Meatloaf

Carnivore Meatloaf

Ingredients:

  • 2 pounds ground beef (preferably 80/20 for juiciness)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup fresh Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 to 1 cup cooked bacon, chopped (feel free to adjust the amount based on how bacon-y you want it!)
  • Salt, to taste
  • Optional: Black pepper (if you’re okay with a bit of seasoning outside the strict carnivore diet)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. Prepare the bacon: Cook the bacon in a skillet until crispy, then chop it into small pieces. Set it aside to cool.

  3. Mix the meatloaf:

    • In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, eggs, grated Parmesan, shredded cheddar, and cooked bacon.
    • Add salt to taste. If you like a bit of extra seasoning, you can add some black pepper, though this is optional depending on your level of adherence to the carnivore diet.
  4. Shape the meatloaf: Transfer the meat mixture into a loaf pan or shape it by hand into a loaf on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  5. Bake:

    • Place the meatloaf in the preheated oven and bake for about 45 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
    • You can check for doneness by inserting a meat thermometer into the center of the meatloaf.
  6. Rest: Let the meatloaf rest for about 10 minutes after removing it from the oven to help it set.

  7. Serve and enjoy! Slice and enjoy this hearty, carnivore-friendly meal packed with flavor!

Feel free to adjust the amount of bacon or cheese depending on how rich or smoky you want the meatloaf to taste. This meatloaf is naturally juicy and flavorful, and it keeps you full with that satisfying carnivore goodness!
