Carnivore Pancakes Recipe

These carnivore pancakes are ridiculously easy to make, super moist, and packed with all the flavors you love. A perfect, protein-packed breakfast or snack for anyone following a carnivore or keto lifestyle!

Preparation Time:

  • Prep time: 5 minutes
  • Cook time: 5 minutes
  • Total time: 10 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 3 large organic eggs
  • 1/2 cup (120 g) ground beef or ground pork (optional, for extra protein and flavor)
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) heavy cream (or you can use unsweetened full-fat coconut milk for dairy-free)
  • 1/2 cup (60 g) shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or your favorite carnivore-friendly cheese)
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt (adjust to taste)
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder (optional, for a savory twist)
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder (optional, for a savory twist)
  • 1 tsp butter (for cooking)

Instructions:

  1. Whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, and sea salt in a mixing bowl until smooth and well-combined.

  2. Add in the ground meat (if using) and shredded cheese. Stir until the mixture forms a thick batter. You can also add garlic powder and onion powder here if you want a bit more flavor!

  3. Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium-low heat and add a little butter to grease the surface.

  4. Pour about 2 tablespoons of the pancake batter into the skillet for each pancake, gently spreading it out into a round shape.

  5. Cook each pancake for about 2-3 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through. Be gentle when flipping, as these pancakes can be a bit delicate. If they’re too thick, you can press them down lightly with a spatula.

  6. Serve warm with a dollop of butter or sugar-free syrup. If you’re following a carnivore diet, you can top it with additional crispy bacon, sausage, or even more cheese.

Tips:

  • You can use a variety of meats or even try ground turkey or chicken if you prefer.
  • The heavy cream helps keep the pancakes moist and gives them a slight richness, but you can adjust the amount if you want a thicker batter.
  • For an extra indulgence, top with bacon or a fried egg!

I hope this recipe helps you recreate those carnivore pancakes your husband loves! Let me know how they turn out or if you need any adjustments. 😊
