Carnivore Pizza Burger Pie Recipe
Ingredients:
-
For the Meat Crust:
-
1 lb ground beef (you can use other ground meats like pork or lamb if preferred)
-
1 large egg (optional, helps with binding, can be omitted for strict carnivores)
-
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese (optional for more flavor)
-
Salt and pepper to taste
-
1/2 tsp garlic powder (optional, depending on your level of strictness)
-
-
For the Toppings:
-
1/2 cup marinara sauce (ensure it’s made without sugar or plant ingredients, or use a meat-based sauce if strict)
-
1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (or any cheese of your choice, like cheddar or provolone)
-
1/4 cup sliced pepperoni (optional, you can also use sausage or other carnivore-friendly meats)
-
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese (optional, for added flavor)
-
Instructions:
-
Preheat your oven:
-
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) while you prepare the pie.
-
-
Make the Meat Crust:
-
In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, egg (if using), parmesan cheese, salt, pepper, and garlic powder (if using). Mix everything together until well combined.
-
Press the meat mixture into a pie dish or a baking pan, creating a crust-like shape, about 1/2 inch thick. You can make the edges higher to mimic a crust.
-
Bake the meat crust in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the meat is cooked through and slightly browned on top.
-
-
Add the Sauce and Toppings:
-
Remove the meat crust from the oven and spread a thin layer of marinara sauce (if using) over the meat.
-
Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the sauce.
-
Add your choice of carnivore-friendly toppings, like pepperoni, sausage, or even cooked bacon.
-
-
Bake the Pie:
-
Return the pie to the oven and bake for another 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
-
-
Serve:
-
Once done, remove the Carnivore Pizza Burger Pie from the oven, and sprinkle with grated parmesan cheese (optional) for extra flavor.
-
Let it cool slightly before slicing and serving.
