Carnivore Pizza Recipe

Ingredients:
For the Crust:
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup finely ground chicken or pork rinds (or almond flour if you’re allowing it)
- 1 egg
- 1/2 tsp Redmond’s salt (or any salt of choice)
For the Toppings:
- 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 15-20 pepperoni slices
- Optional: sugar-free marinara sauce (if you’re following a keto-carnivore plan)
Instructions:
1️⃣ Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
2️⃣ Make the crust:
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the shredded mozzarella cheese in the microwave (about 30-40 seconds or until fully melted).
- Mix the melted cheese with the egg, ground chicken or pork rinds, and salt. Stir until it forms a dough-like consistency.
- Transfer the dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet. Use your hands or a spatula to press and spread it out into a pizza shape, about 1/4 inch thick.
3️⃣ Bake the crust:
- Place the crust in the preheated oven and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the crust is golden and crispy around the edges.
4️⃣ Add the toppings:
- After the crust is done baking, sprinkle 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the crust.
- Layer the pepperoni slices over the cheese. (You can also add a small drizzle of sugar-free marinara sauce if desired, but it’s optional if you prefer a more carnivore approach.)
5️⃣ Final bake:
- Return the pizza to the oven and bake for another 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the pepperoni is crispy.
6️⃣ Cool and slice:
- Let the pizza cool for a few minutes before slicing into it.
