Carnivore Pizza Recipe

Ingredients:

For the crust:

  • 1 lb ground beef (preferably 80/20 for a bit of fat)
  • 1/2 lb sausage (any type you like)
  • 2 large egg yolks (to help bind the meat mixture)

Toppings:

  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (or cheese of your choice)
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 6 slices of bacon, cooked and chopped
  • 20 slices pepperoni (or more, to your liking)
  • Optional: extra toppings like cooked chicken, pork belly, or more sausage, if you want more variety

Seasonings (optional):

  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Garlic powder (1/2 tsp)
  • Onion powder (1/2 tsp)
  • Italian seasoning (1 tsp)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the “Crust”:

    • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
    • In a large bowl, mix the ground beef, sausage, and egg yolks together. Add a pinch of salt, pepper, and any optional seasonings you like (garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning).
    • Spread the meat mixture onto a parchment-lined baking sheet or pizza pan. Shape it into a circular or rectangular crust, depending on your preference (about 1/2 inch thick).
  2. First Bake:

    • Place the crust in the preheated oven and bake for about 20 minutes. Check it at 15 minutes to see how it’s doing—you’re looking for the meat to cook through and get slightly browned on top.
  3. Add Toppings:

    • While the crust is baking, prepare your toppings. Cook the bacon until crispy and chop it up. Grate the cheeses and get your pepperoni ready. You can also add any extra carnivore-friendly toppings at this stage.
    • Once the crust is done baking, remove it from the oven.
  4. Assemble the Pizza:

    • Sprinkle the mozzarella and parmesan cheese evenly over the crust.
    • Add the cooked bacon and pepperoni slices on top (and any other toppings you want to add).
    • If you want the cheese to melt and bubble nicely, you can add a few more dollops of cheese if you desire.
  5. Second Bake:

    • Return the pizza to the oven and bake for another 10-15 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and everything looks nicely cooked and golden.
  6. Serve:

    • Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before slicing (though it will be hard to wait!)
    • Slice into wedges and enjoy your carnivore pizza!

Enjoy your indulgent, meat-packed pizza! Feel free to customize the toppings based on what meats you like best.
