Carnivore Seafood Alfredo
Ingredients:
-
Seafood:
- 1/2 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/2 lb scallops
- 1/2 lb white fish (like cod or tilapia), cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 tbsp butter (for cooking the seafood)
- Salt and pepper to taste
-
Alfredo Sauce:
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 3 tbsp butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced (optional for flavor, can skip for stricter carnivore)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg (optional, for depth of flavor)
-
Garnish (optional):
- Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
- Extra grated Parmesan cheese for topping
Instructions:
-
Cook the Seafood:
- In a large skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat.
- Add the shrimp, scallops, and fish to the pan, seasoning with a little salt and pepper.
- Cook the shrimp for about 2-3 minutes on each side until pink and cooked through. Cook the scallops for about 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown, and the fish should cook in about 4-5 minutes, depending on the thickness.
- Remove the seafood from the skillet and set aside.
-
Make the Alfredo Sauce:
- In the same skillet, melt 3 tablespoons of butter over medium-low heat.
- If you’re using garlic, add it to the skillet and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant (skip this step for strict carnivores).
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring it to a simmer, stirring occasionally.
- Once simmering, reduce the heat and add the shredded Parmesan and mozzarella cheese. Stir constantly until the cheese is melted and the sauce becomes creamy.
- Season with salt, pepper, and optional nutmeg. Adjust the seasoning to taste.
-
Combine the Seafood and Sauce:
- Once the sauce is creamy and smooth, add the cooked seafood back into the skillet.
- Stir gently to coat the seafood in the Alfredo sauce, ensuring everything is heated through.
-
Serve:
- Serve the Carnivore Seafood Alfredo hot, garnished with additional Parmesan cheese if desired.
- For a nice touch, you can add a sprinkle of fresh parsley (optional) for color and flavor.
Notes:
- You can adjust the seafood based on your preferences or availability. Crab meat or lobster tails would be amazing alternatives!
- If you want a richer flavor, you can add extra butter to the sauce.
This Carnivore Seafood Alfredo is indulgent and creamy, with all the savory goodness of the ocean! Enjoy!
