Carnivore Soul Bread Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened

  • 4 large eggs

  • 1/4 cup melted butter (or bacon fat/tallow for more carnivore purity)

  • 1/4 cup unflavored whey protein isolate (can sub with egg white protein powder)

  • 1/4 cup powdered pork rinds (optional for texture and more fat)

  • 1 tsp baking powder

  • 1/2 tsp salt

Optional additions (more relaxed carnivore):

  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder or onion powder for flavor

  • A pinch of cream of tartar (to stabilize the eggs)

🥣 Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C). Grease a loaf pan or line with parchment paper.

  2. In a mixing bowl, blend the cream cheese and eggs until smooth (hand mixer or blender recommended).

  3. Add the melted butter, then stir in the whey protein, baking powder, salt, and optional pork rinds. Mix until fully combined into a thick batter.

  4. Pour into the loaf pan, smoothing the top with a spatula.

  5. Bake for 35–40 minutes or until the top is golden and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

  6. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then remove and let it fully cool on a wire rack before slicing.

🔪 Tips:

  • Let it sit overnight in the fridge to firm up—makes it easier to slice thin.

  • Toasting brings out a better texture and taste, especially for sandwiches.

  • Store in the fridge up to 5 days, or freeze slices for later.

Would you like a version with no dairy or one that’s egg-heavy like a protein bread loaf?
