Carnivore Toast (Zero Carb, 100% Animal-Based)

Yield:

4–6 slices (depending on thickness)

Prep Time:

5 minutes

Cook Time:

30–35 minutes

Total Time:

40 minutes

Ingredients

  • 4 large eggs

  • 4 oz cream cheese (room temperature)

  • 2 tbsp butter or ghee (melted, plus extra for greasing)

  • 1/2 tsp baking powder (optional — adds slight rise, skip for strict carnivore)

  • Pinch of salt (optional)

  • Optional add-in: 1 tbsp unflavored gelatin (for firmer texture)

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven
Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C). Grease a small loaf pan with butter or animal fat.

  2. Blend Ingredients
In a blender or mixing bowl, combine:

    • 4 eggs

    • 4 oz cream cheese

    • 2 tbsp melted butter

    • (Optional: 1/2 tsp baking powder, pinch of salt, and/or gelatin)
      Blend until completely smooth.

  3. Bake
Pour batter into the greased loaf pan.
Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until firm and golden on top.
A toothpick inserted should come out clean.

  4. Cool & Slice
Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Remove and let rest on a wire rack or cutting board for another 10.
Slice into toast-sized pieces (usually 4–6 slices depending on your pan size).

  5. Toast It!
For best texture, pan-fry in butter or toast in a skillet or toaster oven until golden and crisp on the edges.

🧈 Serving Ideas

  • Top with fried eggs, bacon, or sausage

  • Add butter, ghee, or whipped cream cheese

  • Make mini carnivore sandwiches or open-faced melts

🧊 Storage

  • Refrigerate in an airtight container up to 5 days

  • Freeze slices and reheat in skillet or toaster when needed

Let me know if you want a version without cream cheese (like a beef or egg loaf version), or if you want to turn this into French toast carnivore-style.
