- 2 cups elbow macaroni (cooked & cooled)
- 1 cup mayonnaise

- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup celery, chopped
- 1/2 cup red bell pepper, diced
- 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup frozen peas (thawed)
- 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, cubed (optional)
- 2 tablespoons fresh dill (for garnish)
Instructions:
- Cook the macaroni according to package instructions. Drain and rinse with cold water.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, vinegar, mustard, sugar, salt, and pepper.
- Add the cooked macaroni, celery, bell pepper, red onion, peas, and cheese. Stir well to coat.
- Cover and chill for at least 1 hour before serving for the best flavor.
