Easy Vanilla Pound Cake

Ingredients:

• 2 cups all-purpose flour
• 1 cup granulated sugar
• 1 cup unsalted butter (softened)
• 4 large eggs
• 1/2 cup milk
• 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
• 2 teaspoons baking powder
• A pinch of salt

Preparation:

1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
2. Mix butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
4. Combine dry ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, and salt.
5. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with milk.
6. Stir in vanilla extract and mix until smooth.
7. Pour batter into the pan and bake for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
