Grass-Fed Ground Beef, Bacon & Eggs Scramble
Ingredients:
- 1 lb grass-fed ground beef
- 4 slices bacon (preferably thick-cut)
- 4 large eggs
- 1 tbsp butter (optional, for extra richness)
- Salt and pepper to taste (optional, depending on your carnivore preferences)
Instructions:
- Cook the Bacon: In a large skillet, heat the bacon over medium heat. Cook the bacon until crispy, about 4-5 minutes per side. Once done, remove the bacon and place it on a paper towel to drain excess fat. Leave about 1-2 tablespoons of bacon grease in the skillet to use for cooking the beef.
- Brown the Ground Beef: In the same skillet with the bacon grease, add the grass-fed ground beef. Break it up into smaller pieces with a spatula as it cooks. Cook for about 7-8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the beef is fully browned and cooked through. If there’s any excess grease, you can drain it or leave a little for extra flavor.
- Cook the Eggs: While the beef is cooking, crack the eggs into a bowl and whisk them lightly. Once the beef is cooked, push it to one side of the skillet. On the other side, add 1 tablespoon of butter (if using) and let it melt. Pour in the eggs and scramble them until cooked to your desired consistency, about 3-4 minutes.
- Combine the Bacon and Beef: Chop the cooked bacon into bite-sized pieces and add it to the skillet with the beef and scrambled eggs. Stir everything together to combine the flavors.
- Serve: Taste and season with salt and pepper if desired. Serve hot and enjoy your rich, satisfying carnivore meal!
