Simple Jam and Walnut Cake Recipe
Ingredients:
- 2 large eggs
- 1 packet vanilla sugar (8g)
- A pinch of salt
- 120g sugar (about 2/3 cup)
- 120ml oil (about 1/2 cup)
- 120ml milk (about 1/2 cup)
- 220g all-purpose flour (about 1 cup + 3/4 cup)
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 50g jam (choose your favorite variety)
- 50g walnuts, chopped
- Baking dish: 24 cm round (9-inch round)
Directions:
1. Prepare the Batter:
- Preheat your oven to 170°C (340°F).
- In a large mixing bowl, beat 2 eggs with 120g of sugar, the packet of vanilla sugar, and a pinch of salt.
- Mix well until the mixture is light and fluffy.
