Spicy and Savory Jalapeno Popper Cheese Ball with Bacon
Ingredients:
2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup sour cream
1/4 cup diced jalapenos (seeds removed for less heat)
1/4 cup cooked bacon, crumbled
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon onion powder
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
Salt and pepper, to taste
1/2 cup chopped green onions
1/2 cup crushed Ritz crackers (or any preferred crackers)
Optional: extra bacon bits and jalapeno slices for garnish
Directions:
In a large mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, shredded mozzarella cheese, mayonnaise, sour cream, diced jalapenos, crumbled bacon, garlic powder, onion powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix everything together until smooth and well incorporated.
Shape the cheese mixture into a ball or log shape, using your hands or a spatula.
Roll the cheese ball in the chopped green onions and crushed crackers, ensuring the ball is evenly coated.
Cover the cheese ball with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to firm up and allow the flavors to meld together.
Before serving, garnish the cheese ball with extra bacon bits and jalapeno slices, if desired.
Serve with crackers, chips, or fresh vegetables for dipping.
