🍞 Zero-Carb Carnivore Bread (Fluffy, Sliceable & Satisfying)
No almond flour, no psyllium, no carbs — just animal-based goodness.
🔸 Ingredients:
-
8 large eggs
-
8 oz cream cheese (or softened butter for firmer bread)
-
1 cup shredded cheese (mozzarella or cheddar works great)
-
2 tbsp beef gelatin (NOT collagen – this helps it hold structure)
-
1/2 tsp baking powder (optional – for fluff; omit for strict carnivore)
-
Pinch of salt
Optional Add-ins:
-
1–2 tbsp bacon fat or duck fat (for extra flavor & moistness)
-
1/4 tsp garlic powder or onion powder (if you’re doing relaxed carnivore)
🔸 Instructions:
-
Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C). Grease a loaf pan or line with parchment paper.
-
Blend wet ingredients:
In a large bowl (or blender), mix eggs, cream cheese, and salt until smooth and slightly frothy. -
Add cheese & gelatin:
Stir in shredded cheese, beef gelatin, and baking powder (if using). Let the mixture sit for 3–5 minutes to let the gelatin start working. -
Pour & bake:
Pour batter into your prepared loaf pan. Bake for 40–50 minutes, until golden on top and a toothpick comes out clean. -
Cool completely:
Let it cool in the pan for 10–15 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack. Cool fully before slicing to avoid crumbling.
🔸 Tips:
-
Store in fridge up to 5 days or freeze slices individually.
-
Toast it in a pan with butter or use it for sandwiches, burgers, or even French toast (carnivore style).
-
Want even more protein? Sub 2 of the whole eggs with 3–4 extra egg whites.
Would you like a version of this using only egg whites and beef (Lion Diet style)?
