🍗 Carnivore Chicken Nuggets

🧂 Ingredients:

  • 1 can (12.5 oz) chicken breast, drained and shredded
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese (mozzarella or cheddar — for binding and flavor)
  • 1/4 tsp salt (optional)
  • 1/4 cup crushed pork rinds (for coating – extra crispy)

🥣 Instructions:

1. Make the nugget mix

In a mixing bowl, combine:

  • Shredded canned chicken
  • Egg
  • Shredded cheese
  • Salt (if using)

Mix well until the mixture is sticky and holds together.

2. Shape the nuggets

Scoop out small portions and shape into nugget-sized pieces with your hands or a spoon. Place them on a tray or plate.

3. Freeze for firmness (optional but helpful)

Place nuggets in the freezer for 30–60 minutes. This helps them firm up, making coating and air frying easier.

4. Coat the nuggets

Once firm, dip each nugget into beaten egg, then roll in crushed pork rinds to coat.

5. Air fry

  • Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  • Air fry for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.

🧊 Storage:

  • Freeze uncooked nuggets for future quick meals.
  • Store cooked nuggets in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze for longer.

🔁 Variations:

  • Add grated parmesan to the mix for extra umami.
  • Mix in a bit of beef tallow or bacon fat for richness.
  • Make them spicy: add a pinch of paprika or cayenne (if you’re okay with those on your version of carnivore).

Let me know if you want a no-dairy version or to add organ meat for a nutrient boost!
