Carnivore Cookie Bars (Strict Recipe)

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter

  • 1/2 cup heavy cream (or 1/4 cup powdered heavy cream or milk powder, optional for texture)

  • 1/2 cup beef protein isolate or egg white powder (or milk protein isolate)

  • 1–2 egg yolks (optional, for richness and binding)

  • Pinch of salt

🔥 Instructions:

  1. Brown the Butter:

    • In a saucepan over medium-low heat, melt the butter.

    • Let it cook until it turns golden brown and smells nutty (about 5–8 minutes). Watch it carefully so it doesn’t burn.

  2. Mix the Base:

    • In a bowl, mix protein powder and powdered cream (if using).

    • Slowly pour the browned butter into the dry mixture, stirring until it forms a thick dough.

    • Add egg yolks if using, and mix to combine.

  3. Shape & Chill:

    • Press the mixture into a small parchment-lined loaf pan or dish to about 1/2 inch thick.

    • Chill in the fridge or freezer for at least 1 hour until firm.

  4. Slice & Serve:

    • Cut into bars or squares and enjoy cold or at room temp!

✅ Optional Add-ins (still carnivore-friendly):

  • Bits of cooked bacon for crunch

  • Crispy chicken skin pieces

  • Shaved aged cheese (like Parmesan)
