Carnivore Pizza Recipe
Ingredients for the “Crust”:
-
1 lb ground beef (or pork, chicken, or a mix of meats)
-
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese (optional for extra flavor)
-
1 egg (to bind the crust)
-
1 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
-
Salt and pepper to taste
Ingredients for the Toppings:
-
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (or more, depending on preference)
-
1/2 cup cooked bacon bits (optional)
-
1/2 cup pepperoni slices (optional)
-
1/2 cup cooked sausage (optional)
-
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese (optional for topping)
-
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
-
Prepare the “crust”:
-
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
-
In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground meat, egg, parmesan cheese (if using), garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
-
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or use a pizza stone. Spread the meat mixture evenly on the baking sheet, shaping it into a round pizza shape or rectangle, depending on your preference.
-
Bake the meat crust in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes or until the edges are golden brown and the meat is cooked through. Check that the crust is firm and fully cooked.
-
-
Add toppings:
-
Remove the crust from the oven. Sprinkle a layer of mozzarella cheese over the top of the crust.
-
Add any other toppings you like, such as cooked bacon, pepperoni, sausage, or more cheese. You can also sprinkle some extra parmesan cheese for additional flavor.
-
-
Finish the pizza:
-
Return the pizza to the oven and bake for another 5-10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the toppings are heated through.
-
-
Serve:
-
Once the cheese is melted and golden, remove the pizza from the oven and let it cool slightly before slicing and serving.
-
