Carnivore Bacon Pizza (Cheese Crust)
✅ 100% Carnivore-Friendly
🕒 Total Time: 20 minutes
🍽️ Servings: 1–2 (but you’ll probably eat it all yourself)
🧀 Ingredients
For the Crust:
-
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (whole milk preferred)
-
½ cup grated parmesan or cheddar (optional, for crispiness)
For the Toppings:
-
4–6 strips bacon, cooked and chopped
-
½ cup cooked ground beef or sausage (optional)
-
½–1 cup more mozzarella (for topping)
-
1–2 tbsp beef tallow, bacon grease, or melted cream cheese (optional, for “sauce” layer)
Optional: sprinkle of salt, black pepper, or dried liver powder for nutrient boost
👨🍳 Instructions
1. Preheat Oven:
Set to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet or pizza pan with parchment paper.
2. Make the Crust:
-
Mix 2 cups mozzarella and parmesan together.
-
Spread evenly into a thin, flat circle or rectangle on the parchment — about ¼ inch thick.
-
Bake for 8–10 minutes until bubbly and golden brown around edges.
3. Cook Bacon + Meat (if not done):
-
While crust bakes, cook bacon strips until crispy. Chop into bite-sized pieces.
-
If using ground beef or sausage, cook and season lightly with salt.
4. Add Toppings:
-
Optional: Brush crust with a little bacon grease or melted cream cheese for flavor.
-
Sprinkle cooked bacon all over the crust.
-
Add any additional meat (beef/sausage).
-
Top with ½–1 cup more mozzarella.
5. Bake Again:
-
Return to oven for 5–7 more minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
6. Cool, Slice, and Destroy:
-
Let sit for 2–3 minutes to crisp up.
-
Slice with a pizza cutter or kitchen scissors.
-
Eat it hot — or reheat leftovers in a pan for max crisp.
🔁 Optional Variations
-
No Cheese Version: Use a crust made from pressed ground chicken, pork, or beef (want that version? I’ll write it up).
-
Breakfast Pizza: Crack 1–2 eggs on top before final bake.
-
Organ Add-On: Sprinkle with finely chopped liver or kidney for nutrient density (can’t taste it under the bacon/cheese!).
Let me know if you want this pan-fried instead of baked, or if you’re going strict carnivore (meat + salt + water only) — I can adapt it.
