🧀🥓 Carnivore Cheesy Bacon Dip
🕒 Prep Time: 10 minutes
🔥 Cook Time: 20 minutes
🍽️ Servings: 4–6
🧾 Ingredients:
-
8 oz cream cheese, softened
-
1 cup sour cream (or full-fat Greek yogurt if tolerated)
-
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
-
6–8 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
-
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
-
½ tsp garlic powder (optional)
-
½ tsp onion powder (optional)
-
Salt to taste
-
Optional: chopped cooked ground beef or sausage for extra meatiness (½ cup)
🔪 Instructions:
Step 1: Preheat Oven
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Step 2: Mix the Dip
In a large mixing bowl, combine:
-
Cream cheese
-
Sour cream
-
Shredded cheddar
-
Most of the bacon (save a bit for topping)
-
Parmesan cheese
-
Optional spices (garlic/onion powder)
Mix until fully combined. If you’re adding extra meat like sausage or ground beef, fold it in now.
Step 3: Bake
Transfer the mixture to an oven-safe dish (8×8 works well).
Top with extra cheese and reserved bacon.
Bake for 20 minutes, or until bubbling and golden on top.
Optional: Broil for 2-3 minutes for a crispy, golden finish.
Step 4: Serve
Let cool slightly and serve warm with:
-
Pork rinds
-
Sliced cooked sausage
-
Carnivore “crackers” (cheese crisps)
-
Or just eat it straight with a spoon
🔄 Variations:
-
Add blue cheese for a smoky twist
-
Mix in chopped brisket or pulled pork
-
Use mascarpone instead of sour cream for a silkier texture
