Carnivore Sweet Pork Rinds Snack recipe!
Ingredients:
- 2 cups pork rinds (crushed slightly for better coating)
- 2 tbsp butter (melted)
- 2 tbsp granulated or powdered sweetener (monk fruit, erythritol, or allulose)
- ½ tsp cinnamon (optional, but adds great flavor)
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) if you want a warm, crispy version. (You can skip this if you prefer to make it stovetop or microwave.)
- Melt butter in a microwave or small saucepan.
- Mix sweetener, cinnamon, and salt in a small bowl.
- Coat the pork rinds: Place pork rinds in a large bowl, drizzle melted butter over them, then sprinkle the sweetener mix while tossing to coat evenly.
- Bake (Optional for Extra Crispiness): Spread the coated pork rinds on a baking sheet and bake for 5-7 minutes until slightly caramelized.
- Cool & Enjoy: Let them cool slightly before eating so they get extra crispy!
Tips:
- If you prefer extra caramelized sweetness, drizzle a little sugar-free maple syrup or allulose syrup before baking.
- For a quick version, skip the baking and just mix everything in a bowl, then microwave for 10-15 seconds to help the flavors meld.
- Pair with whipped cream or a keto-friendly dip for an extra treat!
