Carnivore Steak Cheese Wrap
🔸 Ingredients:
For the Wrap:
-
1 cup shredded mozzarella (or provolone or cheddar)
For the Filling:
-
4–6 oz cooked steak, thinly sliced (ribeye, sirloin, or flank)
-
1 tbsp butter or tallow
-
Optional: pinch of salt or extra melted cheese
🔧 Instructions:
1. Make the Cheese Wrap:
-
Preheat a nonstick skillet (or use parchment on a baking sheet).
-
Add shredded cheese in a thin, even circle (6–8” wide).
-
Cook over medium heat until cheese melts and edges brown and crisp slightly (2–3 mins).
-
Let cool 20–30 seconds until pliable, then gently lift off and place on a plate to shape while warm.
2. Prepare the Steak Filling:
-
Reheat or cook steak slices in butter or tallow until warm and browned.
-
Add a sprinkle of shredded cheese while still in the pan if you want it gooey inside.
3. Assemble Wrap:
-
Place hot steak filling in the center of the cheese wrap.
-
Roll up like a burrito or fold like a taco.
-
Let rest 1–2 mins to set — cheese will hold everything together.
🔁 Variations:
-
Add crispy bacon or scrambled eggs inside.
-
Make mini versions for sliders or appetizers.
-
Use leftover roast beef or shaved ribeye for extra tenderness.
🧊 Storage:
-
Best fresh, but can be prepped and reheated gently in a skillet or air fryer.
